Subject: kmail startup crash
From: kynes@inicia.es

Package:           kmail
Version: unknown (using KDE 2.1.1 - CVS 20010306)
Severity:          normal
Installed from: Debian Package 4:2.1.0.1-5 (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010219 (prerelease)
OS:                Linux
OS/Compiler notes: kernel 2.4.2

 Kmail dies with a SIGSEGV at the beginning, and I don't get any crash dialog.

 The output of an strace is:

execve("/usr/bin/kmail", ["kmail"], [/* 40 vars */]) = 0
uname({sys="Linux", node="toni", ...})  = 0
brk(0)                                  = 0x8173460
open("/etc/ld.so.preload", O_RDONLY)    = 3
fstat64(0x3, 0xbffff0ec)                = 0
close(3)                                = 0
--- SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) ---
+++ killed by SIGSEGV +++
