OS: Linux 2.2.16 i686 (compiled sources)

I'm getting an error when i'm trying to send an email through kmail.
when kmail trys to send an email i'm getting error-code 503.
whats wrong ?

And is there a way to get support for IMAP-Servers under KMail ?
