I guess the problem was originally reported against the old style pop account
:-)
In the POP3 slave now always when a line starts with ".." it is converted
correctely to ".", not that difficult to fix.
The problem with SMTP was simply, that we made two dots out of
single dots and the SMTP implementation in mimelib did again, therefore three
dots which result in two dots on the server. This works now also.
