That does not help. You need the root directory and call there "make -f 
Makefile.cvs" that creates the configure files in the subdirs. Possibly it 
works, if you only download this directory in addition.
Otherwise you have to use a package from a beta which contains already the 
configure script.

At least in the reader window some headers like to, from, reply-to are 
already translated.

Yes, the translation works. But your patch breaks the searching functionality 
in these folders.
