When you uncheck "retreve all mail" option Kmail makes use of "LAST"
command in order to figure out what message was read last.
This option never worked for me with my mail server(qmail), but i recently
discovered that it worked with other mail servers.

After diggiging around i founded the folllowing thing :
"The LAST command was dropped from the POP3 specification as of RFC1725. In
the earlier RFCs, this command was required. Because of this ambiguity, the
command is optional in this implementation."

So, with standarts complient Qmail(and this is very popular program) this
command simple does not work, and Kmail on every mail check retreves all the
mail all over again.

I belive that instead of LAST should be used UIDL.

	Evgeny
