Similar slowdown to everyone else after a few lines of text. Kmail 1.9.1 in Kubuntu \
6.06. 

BUT

New aspect! If the email composer session (includes editing drafts) begins with \
wordwrap off (either by default or before typing) there is NO slowdown. As soon as \
word wrap is turned on, s-l-o-w. If wordwrap is then turned off, composer remains \
just as slow for the rest of the composer session. \
