as a duplicate, it would be great to be able to label messages. In Thunderbird, I \
have grown used to the messages being colour-coded. This feature is nicely \
complemented by a message filter action, so the messages are automatically labelled \
and colour-coded as they come in.

I am not quite sure how colour-coding of messages would work in conjunction with \
multiple labels per message, which has been requested by many people.

It is also worth noting, that the message labels as they are currently implemented in \
Thunderbird are compatible with Ximian Evolution: once labelled in one email client, \
they are displayed colour-coded in the other. \
