As requested in http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69003, which was marked as a duplicate, it would be great to be able to label messages. In Thunderbird, I have grown used to the messages being colour-coded. This feature is nicely complemented by a message filter action, so the messages are automatically labelled and colour-coded as they come in.

I am not quite sure how colour-coding of messages would work in conjunction with multiple labels per message, which has been requested by many people.

It is also worth noting, that the message labels as they are currently implemented in Thunderbird are compatible with Ximian Evolution: once labelled in one email client, they are displayed colour-coded in the other.
