which was marked as a duplicate, it would be great to be able to label \
messages. In Thunderbird, I have grown used to the messages being \
colour-coded. This feature is nicely complemented by a message filter \
action, so the messages are automatically labelled and colour-coded as they \
come in.

I am not quite sure how colour-coding of messages would work in conjunction \
with multiple labels per message, which has been requested by many people.

It is also worth noting, that the message labels as they are currently \
implemented in Thunderbird are compatible with Ximian Evolution: once \
labelled in one email client, they are displayed colour-coded in the other. \
