My problem is solved.

I've checked which parts I have to recompile with debug information as I saw that the \
update from gcc-3.3.6 -> 3.4.4 didn't went cleanly (although I recompiled the whole \
system). After a `revdep-rebuild -X --soname libstdc++.so.5` I can send mails again. \
;-)

Sorry for the noise I've made.
