I experience a related problem (although it's maybe not the same bug). It
happened, I think, twice, that kmail wasn't quit properly (one time, I killed it,
the other time, my system crashed completely). In both cases, after restarting
kmail, there were duplicate messages, and there appeared a few completely empty
messages (kmail displays them as "No Subject" etc.). Seemingly, kmail gets messed up \
with local and remote folders. Also, when deleting the duplicate messages, some of \
the remaining ones are transformed to empty messages and thus completely lost. The \
empty messages really exist on the IMAP account, I checked with pine. After a few \
starts of kmail this gets "stable", but it's still severe. Normal IMAP is not a good \
alternative as it does not support automatic filtering. KMail 1.7.2, KDE 3.3.2, \
