No problem, except for the one you already mentioned as issue 3.

Yes, the action deletes a thread, not just children, so that's exactly what 
should happen.

Bit of a shame but no biggie.

Agreed on the first part, irrelevant for the second. Theoretically a thread 
can contain one message and it will still be useful to delete it with the 
same shortcut when you're deleting threads from a mailinglist folder that 
also has single messages in between.

Glad to see a patch though! :-)
