The recipient can only receive Inline GPG messages. This is correctly \
configured in the address book. My identy is configured to prefer \
OpenPGP/MIME. When I compose an e-mail the encryption method is set to \
OpenPGP/MIME which is okay, since I haven't yet specified the recipient. \
But when I want to send the mail in encrypted form, the composer doesn't \
warn about conflicting settings, it simply closes the window and the whole \
message is lost. This is somewhat similar to Bug 90480 where another \
(perhaps related) misbehaviour is reported when there's a conflicting \
setting for the encryption method. \
