I'd have to ask around; but my instinct is that the emails in a search folder 
are 'symlinks' to the original.  So deleting it will not affect the original 
email.  This is not the case; and in my opinion quite disturbing when I found 
out I was wrong (I almost lost some email over this).

In light of that point a symlinked search result should be provided sometime 
in the future; that one will definitely need a menu entry to re-run the 
search.
The current version does not need it.

Yes a status bar is needed there.

I like that thought...   I'll ponder on that...
/me thinking about a searchFolder called 'new search' which shows a search 
widget in-line...
Just a thought..

Unquoted stuff I generally agree with and will use in a new version of the 
proposal (but not this week).
