That's because the underlying Qt libraries know use locale aware sorting (i.e. now \
folders with German umlauts are sorted correctly if you are using a German locale). \
If you don't want this then you have to export LC_COLLATE=POSIX (possibly by adding \
"export LC_COLLATE=POSIX" to your ~/.bashrc). \
