Summary: messages missing in IMAP folder
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.5.3
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: goodson01@attbi.com

Version: 1.5.3 (using KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB

Not all the messages that are in my IMAP Inbox appear in KMail. I can confirm the \
messages are actually there using Mutt, or using KMail 1.3.2 on a different computer, \
or using Outlook Express from windows. Also, simply closing and restarting KMail \
changes the number of messages that appear.

For example, I started kmail and went to my Inbox. It showed 183 total messages. \
Then I checked with Mutt and KMail 1.3.2 and both agreed that I really had 300 total \
messages. About half of the mail I received in the past three days was missing. \
Then I restarted KMail and the number of messages increased to 187 (I hadn't received \
any new mail in that time), and it picked up a few more recent mails, and lost some \
it had displayed the first time. Restarting again showed 193 mails (again, no new \
mail was received in that time).

I believe our server is Lotus Notes/Domino 6. I realize this might be difficult to \
track down/reproduce. Let me know what else I can do to help diagnose the problem. \
