That probably means that only my machine is affected.

I've set up another user account to retreive my mail. This is a
completely new user account so all clean settings. Still this retreives
the mails from SF not correctly. Perhaps something is wrong in the RPM
version that I'm using or my install is somehow damaged (seems a bit a
coincidence with the introduction of SF's use of spamassassin though).

No success with that, but seems obvious to what I've tried above.
I'll give it a few more tries and probably will compile kmail from
source at some time. Once I know where the problem is I'll get back to
it.
