Summary: threading and sorting is messed up
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: lenar@city.ee

Version: 1.5.9 (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 20030728 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.0-test2-mm3

when threading is enabled sorting is very much messed up.
new letters appear in the middle of mailbox even though they are alone and
date is today and not in any thread (at least kmail shows it this way).

it should be this way: (threading enabled)

sort by date (and by arrival):
sort by dates of unread messages (means: those threads should appear first that \
contain unread message with date of today). Right now (and in kde 3.1) it sorts by \
thread main message's date.

and of course the threading itself is very much messed up (at least in IMAP account). \
I threads completely unrealated messages and sometimes puts all old messages under \
just arrived message. it ain't fun.

and imho this has got worse with every CVS checkout.
