Version:           1.5 (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from:    Mandrake RPMs
OS:          Linux

When i try to configure Kmail, I click on apply and then save, when I go back and \
restart kmail, it goes back to the defaults and the settings I have set are gone. It \
is not saving the settings I set. as an example.  when I set it to load external \
attachments from the internet, it returns to no external attachments. Same for when I \
tell it not to thread messages. ditto for show html bar. 

strange stuff. It happens every time. It seems like it is not saving the settings I \
set.
