Summary: kmail omits gpg signature when signature block invalid
Product: kmail
Version: 1.5.1
Platform: Debian stable
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
ReportedBy: scudette@reapoff.no-ip.com
Version: 1.5.1 (using KDE KDE 3.1.1a)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux
When using kmail to read a gpg signed message and the key is trusted it \
shows a green frame around the message to indicate the signature is valid. \
If however, the signature is modified within the mailbox file so its \
invalidated, kmail will not show any frames around the message as though it \
was not signed at all. Even though the view source option clearly shows the \
BEGIN GPG headers. I would have expected it to say that the signature is \
invalid instead of not displaying it at all. \
