Summary: Timout while connecting to server
           Product: kio
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: smtp
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: felix.seeger@gmx.de

Version: (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030407 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-pre7

I get this when sending mails:
Sending failed:
Timeout on server
mail.gmx.de

And this on console from kdeinit:
kdeinit: PID 8289 terminated.
kdeinit: opened connection to :0.0
kdeinit: Got EXEC_NEW 'kio_smtp' from launcher.
kio_smtp: S: 220 {mp001-rz3} GMX Mailservices ESMTP

kio_smtp: C: <10 bytes>

kio_smtp:

After this I don't get anything until the timeout message from kmail.
I use plain login, not encryption or something like that.

Using sylpheed works fine.
