I updated to RedHat 9 from RH 8.1 in a Dell C810 Laptop. Updated kernel to 2.4.20-9 \
and installed NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4349.run to enable NVIDIA Geforce2 Go support. \
Graphics quality was not too good, but Kmail was working well. I used \
redhat-config-xfree86 to reconfigure XF86Config (diff of the old and new config shown \
below). Graphics was excellent, but Kmail crashes at startup with the following \
report. The crash comes right after the Kmail window and a startup tip have been \
opened.
