Summary: Last line of outgoing mail gets chopped if it doesn't
                    have a newline
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.5
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: john@landahl.org

Version: 1.5 (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.2.2
OS: Linux

The last line of an outgoing message is getting chopped (completely removed \
from the message) if it does not end with a newline. I frequently type a \
quick signature (e.g. "- John") at the end of my messages without pressing \
Enter, which means I've probably been sending out signature-less messages \
for a long time... I finally noticed that this was happening today when I \
saw the entire last line was missing from a message I sent to a mailing \
list (in this case I provided no signature at all, and neglected to press \
Enter at the end of the last line). \
