Summary: utf-8 encoded mail in folders displays wrong characters
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: ldav1s@yahoo.com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

0) My KDE settings are described below1) Compose a new message (I sent them to myself \
with a Subject line that says test or something)2) Select the el keyboard3) Type "Ti \
kaneteq" (these are the keys labeled on US keyboard) in the message body. You should \
see something like "Ti kanete;" displayed (I'd type it in Greek, but I don't know if \
the bug database would goof it up). Options->Set Encoding is Auto-detect. 4) Send \
the mail.5) Look at the copy of the message just sent in the sent-mail folder. When \
I View source, my Content-Type is:Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8"The \
message body:=CE=A4=CE=B9 =CE=BA=CE=B1=CE=BD=CE=B5=CF=84=CE=B5;seems to be correctly \
encoded. Observe that what is displayed is not "Ti kanete;"6) If you sent the \
message to yourself, receive it and observe the same items in 5)I've also observed \
that Russian has similar problems.Detailed KDE info:Control Center Locale settings: \
