For some reason the index files and the mailbox files are out of sync. 
Probably you simply didn't copy the index files. Their filenames begin 
with a dot (they are "hidden" files) and therefore they are not copied 
when you use Mail/*. Anyway, to fix your problem you will have to 
delete the index files, i.e. run 'rm ~/Mail/.*.index*'. Please backup 
~/Mail before you do this.
