Summary: cannot save addresses in the addressbook
Product: kmail
Version: 1.4.3
Platform: Mandrake RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
ReportedBy: agog@gruz.net
Version: 1.4.3 (using KDE 3.0.3)
Installed from: Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker
Compiler: gcc version 3.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.0 3.2-1mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-q3
Since upgrading to KDE 3.03 from 2.2, I cannot add any addresses to the addressbook. \
Trying to add an email address via the 'add to addressbook' popup menu item seems to \
work, till you try to save the new entry, when it comes up with "Couldn't save \
addressbook". My addresses from KDE 2.2 were not transferred, and cannot be imported. \
A saved addressbook file in .csv format cannot be imported, ending up with the \
"Couldn't save addressbook" message.
I have gigabytes to spare in all my partitions, all fields and folders in my home \
directory are owned by me. _______________________________________________
