As far as I have seen, it _is_ difficult.
The reader window handles clicks on attachments completely different than 
mime-tree ... (If I'm not too tired to see things correctly)
It would be worth modifying access to attachments to not have code duplication 
in mimetree and readerwin, and to use the same actions in both views.... for 
KDE 3.2
