a bit of explanatory text in the groupbox would help, as would tooltips 
(though they would have to change based on the mimetree setting to be 
accurate?)  ... and yes, the screenshots are better than the wire-frame 
outlines that are currently there ...

i'm not sure how easy it would be to describe it in words w/out writing a 
small book ;-) 

using radio buttons w/the pictures probably wouldn't be much more obvious than 
the push buttons are right now and would add more visual clutter than 
anything. especially since laying out all those pictures vertically really 
isn't an option (too big)...
