There we go. "It would be easier to". Easier/simple for _whom_? The 
programmer? Surely! The user? Barely. YACOttWdN (Yet Another Config 
Option that the World doesn't Need). Yet another option that confuses 
users.

Instead of making the source window _always_ use the configured fixed 
font, we add a config option that half of the users doesn't understand 
and the other half doesn't _want_.
