OpenPGP != GnuPG.

At least PGP 5 and 6 are useable as well. Also many people still use
(variants of) PGP 2, so supporting those platforms _does_ help.

I know you GNUs don't like supporting proprietary software and you would
probably be expelled from FSFE if Georg would see you saying "cool, you
support PGP". But the fact is that OpenPGP is based on PGP5 and
provides for backwards compat with PGP 2.6.

That's what you get when a "ventor" takes over your "product" :-(

Maybe you can show me the USPs of mutt and gnus w.r.t. OpenPGP
integration on my next visit to Osnabrueck? ;-)

This was not about free software MUAs alone. I claimed "industries
leading" OpenPGP support, so we need to have a look at TheBat! and
Eudora, too. :-P

We can ignore Outlook. The rumors about the shitty GData plugin or the
cut'n'past orgies with WinPT are enough to throw it out of the
competition.

Does Pegasus include OpenPGP support?

Oh, and I forgot Mulberry. It's IMAP only (no longer!), but it's still a
MUA and it's even available for Linux.

Hmm, in the demo version there's no trace of PGP support. The mailing
list contains a message that talks about how nicely the GnuPG plugin
integrates with Mulberry, so that might only be available for purchased
copies :-(
