Subject: Bug#44532: on "send again", should use the right identity
From: rega+kdebugs () leader-bg ! com
Date: 2002-06-30 2:08:16
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: kmail
Version: KDE 3.0.1
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified
When 'Send Again" is used, KMail defaults the From field on the new email to the \
default identity.
Instead, should always copy the "From" field from the original email (regardless \
whether this is a defined KMail identity, or something custom that was typed in From: \
for the original email).
Example:
Original email:
From:me@mydomain.com
To:you@yourdomain.com
After send-again should be (the same as above, regardless of what identities are \
defined in KMail): From:me@mydomain.com
To:you@yourdomain.com
