OS/Compiler notes: 

I changed the font for "messagebody" from "clean 10" to "clean 12" and after I \
clicked APPLY KMail crashed.

Here is the backtrace if that's any help.

I work with Kmail quite a bit and changing the fonts usually works well even though \
it seems as if the settings are not always saved.

I upgraded my kernel to 2.4.18 - otherwise the attached info is correct.
