Before you can compile kdenetwork/kmail you will need to compile at least 
kdenetwork/mimelib and kdenetwork/libkdenetwork (in what order? if you get it 
wrong make will complain, so trial and error works :-))

Also you need kdelibs and (at l least parts of) kdebase, too.
