The second background colour is configurable just like any other colour. In
the colour scheme configuration, change the value for "Alternate background
in lists" (last entry).

OS/Compiler notes:

Hi !

I recently started using new KDE (cvs version). I am using custom colorset: white \
background, dark-blue windows and white text. (This is the modification od the dark \
blue color scheme - i changed only background from dark blue to white).

The problem is, that messagelist is incorrectly displayed. One entry has blue \
background and white text, next has white background and white text. Pretty \
u(nu)sable.

This white background is not configured in Kmail. But it should. Or... some automagic \
could be added: this additional color should depend on the color selected for the \
background (eg.: dark banckground -> brighter color, bright background -> darker \
color).

regards,
Krzysztof Kosz
