JFYI, that's the way it works in the current cvs version.
I'm against over-configurability but we already have 3 options for the
date (standard, localized, fancy). BTW, IMO this should be changed from
a radiobutton group to a drop down list.
So it wouldn't do too much harm to make something similar for the size,
e.g. a drop down list with the following options:
Message sizes:
- - Don't show.
- - Fixed unit (B: 789, 34567, 12345678)
- - Fixed unit (KB: 0.8, 34.6, 12345.7)
- - Fixed unit (MB: 0.0, 0.0, 12.3)
- - Fancy format (789 B, 34.6 KB, 12.3 MB)
This wouldn't clutter the config dialog to much and would give everyone
what he wants.
Of course this option would be a global setting and not a folder
specific setting. Making this a folder specific setting is definitely
not an option.
Who's going to implement this?
