Hi all,

I'm new here & have a suggestion to improve KMail.

Before I post the feature request I want to know others oponion about it.

I. TEMPORARY FILTER LIST.

I receive a lot of e-mail every day from various mailing list. It would be
great if I can 'filter' a subject for 1 - 2 days but not too long.

Example:
* receive message with subject: "I can't open Opera anymore". I read the
first & second message then decide that I don't have any interest in this
thread.
* It would be great if I can FILTER this message without toucing my inbox.
But I don't want to FILTER this message forever. Because my filter list will
be very long & it's not the way it should be.
* So, how about creating a TEMPORARY FILTER LIST.

With this filter list I should be able to FILTER this kind of message for
(1hr, 2hr, 24hr, 2days, 1 week??).

The temporary filter list should also be able to delete it without download
or download it & put it to trash directly.

II. DELETING HTML TAG.

Sometimes I receive mail with HTML tag. I could read this message nicely if I
select "Prefer to HTML" in folder view.

It would be nice if KMail could provide remove HTML TAG button in the tool
bar.

So whenever I encounter HTML mail, I could click the button & it's become
readable.

I also believe it's better be a button to remove the HTML tag rather than
permanent (like the prefer to HTML). Because If someone send HTML-like tag, I
would miss it. ex. <joke> or <sarcasm>

It would also be nice to put the prefer to HTML to a clickable button.

better: make a 'rotation button'
first state (green color): text -- the whole e-mail
second state (blue? color): remove HTML tag
third state (RED): with HTML.

the button were clickable, and change it's state when it's click
e.g. when red click go to third state, when green click go to first state.

III. REPLYING HTML TAG E-MAIL.

When someone send me HTML e-mail & I hit reply, the replied e-mail looked
ugly. I must clean up all the HTML TAG.

It would be great if KMail provide a button to remove all HTML TAG for
replying.
