I have found that there is defiantely a problem here. All the KDE RPMs are 
properly installed. Another thing leading me to believe that this is a KDE 
problem, and not that all 7 SMTP servers I can reach went down at the same 
time is that stopping the KDE session and starting it again in 100% of the 
cases I have expereinced, 'fix' the problem.
