Caldera is using rpm packages, right ?
You could probably use a binary rpm distribution of klyx-0.9.8a, although there
is klyx-0.9.9pre1 out already.

Have you ever succesfully compiled any C++ program ?
If so, you environment probabyl needs some tweeking, otherwise: Have you
installed the libstdc++ package ?
