"Klikit-Linux, powered by Kubuntu"

Not sure if I ever came across this before (there are several klik
"clones" or ripoffs already, some of them more half-baked than others):

    http://www.klikit.org/
    http://www.klikit.org/download.html
    http://www.klikit.org/storehouse-first.html
    http://loscompanion.com/forums/

(this last link's "loscompanion" name strikes a memory nerve with me...
I've encountered this before, also as a kind of klik clone, about 2
years ago).

They're also using "klikit://someapp" and "klikit-remove://someapp"
links...

I've not tested it for real (yet), but from what I read and see on
their screenshots, some of their stuff looks really nice. I wonder how
they could build such an active community (even if still small, but
have a look at their forums!) without being really noticed in the OSS
world at large?
