has caused the attached bug report to be marked as done.

This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.
If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the
bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

(NB: If you are a system administrator and have no idea what I'm
talking about this indicates a serious mail system misconfiguration
somewhere. Please contact me immediately.)

Subject: konqueror does not remember authentication information for the session
From: jahrens@home.com

Package: konqueror
Version: 2.1 beta2 (KDE 2.1 post Beta 2 (>= 20010128))
Severity: normal
Installed from: sources
Compiler: gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)
OS: Linux 2.2.18 i686 (compiled sources)

Konqueror does not remember username/password information
durring a session.

Example, visit htt://sunsolve.sun.com. Click on 'login'.
Enter a username password. (note: this example requires a
valid Sunsolve contract login, unfortunatly I have not
been able to find any 'public domain' systems where this
problem happens, only on certain private ones). The next
page comes up, then a message that authentication failed.
Enter password again. It works the rest of the way. Click
on a link. Authentication failed again. Enter password
once more, and it continues.

Even with 'keep password' turned on, I have to keep
re-entereing the password from page to page. This only
began happening this week (over the weekend I installed a
CVS downloaded Saturday morning, Feb 10th) The previous
version I had (Lat Jan/Early Feb CVS) did not do this.
