Package: khtml
Version: 3.0 (using KDE 2.1.2 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.1
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-81)
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Linux taylor 2.4.4 #1 SMP Sun May 13 00:28:36 PDT 2001 i686 \
unknown

It would appear that konqueror does not properly handle situations where a form \
submission is supposed to result in the opening of a new browser window.

This can be seen by using the RedHat bugzilla site \
(http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla). To start the bug-sumission process, you fill \
out the 'Easy Start' form.

At the bottom of that form, you press 'Submit' and it is supposed to open a new \
browser window with the final bug form.

Instead, you get an empty browser window. This works properly with Opera 5.0 for \
Linux.

It appears that konqueror is opening the new browser window correctly, but that new \
browser window does not get the results of the HTTP POST command in the previous \
window.

I have seen similar behaviors on other web-sites that use similar conventions.
