The limitation depends on the filesystem - konqueror accepts no
limitation :-)

Since KDE can work on top of any file system, there's no way
to know what the limit of the file system is. We can't just assume
128 is the limit because that's ext2's limit. Maybe reiserfs has a different
one; FAT and VFAT surely have a different one, etc.
Yes, that's the price of modular systems....

I realise there are some system constants, but they don't take into account
the different file systems....
