Similar in what sense David ? The current passive view mode button is plain
and when you press it it puts a little "x" mark on it. This could possibly be
changed to a check mark instead. The close button should always have an "x"
mark on it just as it does on any window. I do not think this would be
in the least bit confusing to the user. And to further ensure this, the
buttons could have a tool-tip and perhaps be placed in opposite ends ???
