Well I use it to separate the table head and first row from the rest of a
table using frames. So scrolling the table doesn't scroll away the head
(IE also has an onScroll event, but using setTimeout could alse be used).
Since the column heads can have a few lines of text, I never know the
width of the generated cells. Iterating the column head widths and
generating an extra row with an image of 1x1 pixel and setting it to the
width of the column head, I can guarantee columns are aligned well.
I am probably the only one to do such a thing :-)
