Multi-line selection actually selects character columns. This might be easy to
implement, but is probably almost never what the user wants.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
click the mouse and drag a multi-line text selection

Actual Results:  
it selects a column of text

Expected Results:  
it selects complete lines of text
