Hmm, one thing that I found out earlier is that there seems to be one document
not being deleted during initialization of areas. That was very early during
setup of the gui, an area was created, a document automatically loaded, then
the area was "closed" or something but the document hasn't been removed again
from the list of open documents. 

This could be reproduced by having 1 document that is automatically opened,
then close it and open it again. Open a second one and then switch between
them. (IIRC).
