For the comment-parsing issue please open a new bugreport.

As far as being slow... It does parse more files now and thus also presents more \
source files to the other parts of kdevelop. To find out wether its really the \
parsing thats slower now, or just other parts of kdevelop taking longer due to more \
source files being known, you'd need to build kdevelop from sources.
