For the comment-parsing issue please open a new bugreport.

As far as being slow... It does parse more files now and thus also presents more source files to the other parts of kdevelop. To find out wether its really the parsing thats slower now, or just other parts of kdevelop taking longer due to more source files being known, you'd need to build kdevelop from sources.
