Andreas, you are right, but:
a) let's take a look what is the best option
b) "duplication" already exists -- esc key
c) stop button takes space (toolbar) and it is outside the pane
d) stop button placed in the pane does not take any (!) extra space, it appears \
exactly where the user could be looking e) it is possible to add progress bar this \
way even further enhance the usefulness of find-in-files (after all you can run \
really long search, so even roughly ETA would be a help)

Btw. just in case -- I am not opting for removing current stop button :-) I don't \
think that such "duplication" causes any harm -- after all we see all the time such \
things -- menus, toolbar, keyboard shortcuts, context menus. There are many ways to \
achieve one thing.

In this case existence of stop button shouldn't stop adding more fine-tuned feature. \
IMHO of course.
