You have two issues here:

a) the storage format of our class databases might be machine dependant. I don't know wether thats really \
the case, I guess the answer is to be found in the documentation of Berkley DB

b) Developer specific settings in the project file, these are things such as the working dir, the full \
path to the executable, the path to qmake and other such things. These should ideally be split from the \
non-developer-specific settings, like the buildsystem-type, the name of the project, the VCS to be used \
and maybe a few more. This has been solved in KDevelop4, where most of the settings get stored into a \
developer-specific hidden directory, but the main kdevelop project file contains only non-specific \
settings and thus can be shared between developers.
